Drew LOVES music. He calls it tunic. He cannot resist dancing when it is on. Quite possibly the cutest dancing ever!

The AF Thunderbirds flew over our house today!
Today was graduation day at the AF Academy. The Thunderbirds did a full demonstration after the ceremony. Our house was in their path! This is just one of the small videos I captured from the back deck!
End of year-Madilyn

Last Day (today). Madi and her friend decided to wear their hair the same and try to dress similarly. And, the party theme was Luau...so she wore a grass skirt and lei.
She is now a 3rd grader!!! Hits close to home for me (Missy) having taught that grade and having such affection for those students I had back then.

Estes Park/Rocky Mtn. Nat'l Park/YMCA of the Rockies
We snuck away to Rocky Mtn Nat'l Park for a two day/ one night trip a few weeks ago.
The famous Stanley Hotel (of The Shining fame). It is in Estes Park. Which I learned is not actually a park, but a town. Who knew?

We hiked a decent portion of the Cub Lake trail and came upon hundreds of Elk in their velvet. Some were close enough to touch.
