Pics from early October

Madi lost another tooth on Oct 4th. She is up to 8. This time she didn't even bother to tell me the tooth fairy had come. I guess she is no longer impressed with the shiny half dollar that the fairy leaves her.

Cold soccer game a few weeks ago. So so cute!

Last Saturday was the end to soccer season. Basketball begins this week!
Madi's team was the Tigersharks. (Confusing to me b/c her running team was the Landsharks...I was forever getting them confused.)

One last Team cheer! 1-2-3 TIGERSHARKS!

Jack's team was Thunder and Lightning! They both got medals, but this was Jack's first time to get something like that. He is very, very proud.

Our first snow!

We had our first snow of the season last night. I woke Jack up at 11pm and took him downstairs to see the snow falling. He didn't remember this morning, but was super excited to see the blanket of white covering the ground. We got dressed and played for a few minutes before taking Madilyn to school. After we got home Jack and Drew played some more. Here are some pics.

The trashmen are ROCK STARS in our house. The boys both get so excited each Wednesday morning. Here they are hanging out like groupies at the curb this morning.

Drewser is 2!!!

Sunday we celebrated Drew's birthday! We grilled out, had cake and ice cream...chocolate of course...and opened presents. Here are some pics from the party and some video snippets, too.

Drew's party last year...

Andy was in Baghdad and Drew talked to him on the phone. Drew love his daddy sooooo much. Talking to him on the phone all those months was the beginning of his love of telephone talking. So, today is doubley special b/c Andy is home this year and will be celebrating with us!

Drew ordered up a chocolate cake this year. Is anyone surprised? Chocolate "ga ga" was one of his first words.

On this day....2 years ago

Andrew "Drew" William Cole was born! He was born at 3:23pm after hours and hours of labor (isn't that how all the labor stories go???) Andy actually delivered him, with the supervision of the hospital doctor. He was 8lbs 14 oz and 20 1/2 inches. He was BIG with a funny conehead. (You can't see it in these pics...those knit caps hide things like coneheads) So healthy and strong! He melted our hearts!!! His personality is blossoming daily. What a funny, sweet little guy!

It's fun to see Drew so little, but look at how young Jack and Madi look...

When Jack met Drew the first two things he did were pinch his nose shut and check out his tiny fingers! Two of my very favorite memories!
