Halloween!

Halloween was so much fun! Drew was very into it. I assumed he wouldn't want to wear his hat, but when he saw Madi and Jack all dressed up he couldn't wait to put his costume on. He never even tried once to remove his hat!
Some great memories include:
1) The moment my eyes opened even the slightest bit...Jack (who had climbed in bed and was snuggled right up to me) said with much enthusiasm, "Happy Halloween, Mommy!"
2) Drew walking around holding Andy's hand while clutching his pumpkin flashlight under his arm. Daddy is so tall. Drew is so little.
3) Drew loves pumpkins. Everytime he sees one he says "Munkin". In my head I'll always hear him saying munkin...even when he is a grown man.
4) Hearing the kids squeal and shriek "trick or treat" up and down the street (we went around with 6 other neighbor kids).
5) Hearing all about the house one block over that had set up a haunted house outside. The kids loved it!
6) Some funny costumes that came to our door...the young boy with the magnet around his neck that had yellow birds glued to it=Chick Magnet; the two girls that came all decked out but covered in blood=one had "stabbed the other in the back"; the kids whose name was Joe who came with his clothes all disheveled=Sloppy Joe; the boy who came as a ref with coke bottle glasses=blind ref.

Madilyn was a Can Can dancer. Jack was Spiderman. Drew was Pablo from The Backyardigans. They all were so happy with their costumes and so cute!

Just before Jack's school party...he is shooting webs...look at his hands.

His best friend at school.

One of his teachers.

His other teacher.

More party pictures.

Pumpkin carving with mountains in the background. I'm still not jaded at seeing the mountains.

Ours is the one on the bottom. The pirate pumpkin is one I won as a door prize earlier in the week.

The first group pic of the night...just before Drew took a header onto the concrete.

Smiling through the tears...

All ready to go...

Jack loved those muscles but was so honest he felt he had to tell you they were made out of "cotton balls".

The haul...and very happy kids!!!!
