Jack's schoolwork

In school Jack is learning about "Me and My Family". His first project was drawing a self portrait. He made sure to tell me used brown yarn b/c they did not have yellow. IF you look closely at the head you can see eyes and ears and a nose or mouth.


His next project was to collect 5 things to bring to school and share. He had decorated the bag at school. He picked:
1) A family picture
2) A postcard from "Hike's Peak" aka Pike's Peak
3) a penny he sent through those stamping machines at the USAFA
4) his Speed Racer car
5) His "special lucky coin that daddy gave me" (daddy wishes he didn't revere it so much...then he could commandeer it and add it to his own collection at work)



Today he made a Grandparents' Day card at school. He showed me with pride how he had drawn himself inside the card. Happy Grandparents' Day!!
